The toolkit
Everything a sourdough baker needs, in one app
No clutter, no gimmicks. The daily job done well, plus the tools to improve every loaf.
Track every feed, never miss one
Log a feed in one tap, in the app, straight from the home-screen widget, or by asking Siri. Each starter shows whether it is fed, due, or overdue, and a gentle reminder brings you back when it is time. Keep a feeding streak going.

Do the baker’s math
Dial in hydration, salt, and starter in baker’s percentages. Scale a formula to any batch or loaf count, and check water for a target hydration in seconds.

Plan your bake day by temperature
Tell Banneton when you want bread out of the oven and how warm your dough is. It works backward through autolyse, bulk, shape, proof, and bake, and adjusts the timing to your kitchen.

Keep a bake journal
Save each bake with photos, a rating, and notes. Insights charts then show how your loaves trend and which hydration and dough temperature your best ones share, so your loaf gets better, not just different.

Questions
Baker's questions
Do I need an account?
No. Banneton has no accounts and no sign-in. Your starters, bakes, and photos live on your device and sync through your own iCloud if you use more than one device.
Does it work offline?
Yes, fully. Everything runs on your device, so feed tracking, the calculators, and the schedule work with no connection.
How much does it cost?
The core is free: track one starter with feed reminders and the basic baker’s math. Premium unlocks the full calculator, the bake schedule, the journal, multiple starters, and the troubleshooting library. There is a yearly plan, a monthly plan, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
Is my data used for anything?
No. We do not collect, sell, or track your data. The App Privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What devices and languages does it support?
Banneton runs on iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch app, watch-face complications, home and Lock Screen widgets, and Siri shortcuts. The app speaks English, German, French, and Spanish.
