A calmer way to bake sourdough

Sourdough is a daily relationship. A starter wants feeding on a rhythm, and a good loaf rewards attention to numbers and to feel. Banneton was built to support both, without getting in the way.

What we believe

Three ideas shape every screen. First, nail the daily feed: logging should take one tap, and the state of each starter should be obvious at a glance. Second, stay honest and uncluttered: transparent pricing, no ads, and no gimmicky AI as the headline. Third, serve both kinds of baker, the one who works by feel and the one who works by numbers, in the same clean app.

Private by design

Your starters, bakes, and photos live on your device and sync only through your own iCloud. There is no account and no server holding your data. We do not track you, show ads, or sell anything about you. The App Privacy label is Data Not Collected, and that is by design, not by accident.

What we do not build

Banneton is a baking companion, not a social network or a recipe marketplace. It does not claim food-safety or health authority. The guidance and timings are informational and based on what you enter, so always follow safe food-handling and judge the dough by how it looks and feels.
